Cartel Land

The scene that got to me in cartel land was when the police in the Mexico city were in their car driving and gun shots went off and they all jump out the car. The next part you see is him laying on the ground and he says to his camera man " watch my back." This really caught my eye because it makes you come to the reality that people are actually getting killed families are losing their fathers and sons from these brutal attacks from the cartel. A major surprise for me in the documentary cartel land is we hear about how ruthless it is down on the US- Mexico border but after get this inside look you notice how ruthless they really are and the cartel does not care about anyone options and laws beside theirs. Question that i thought of is has any steps been taken to solve the conflict between the civilians and the cartel. A feeling that stayed with me after the film was the empathy for the families that are suffering from the lethal cartel. write about? T
